a person who engages in a hobby, an interest or activity pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as one's main occupation 

venture [ ven-cher ]

an undertaking involving uncertainty as to the outcome, especially a risky or dangerous one

This blog and its contents are effectively described in the name itself, Hobbyist Ventures.

 My hobbies or interests over the years have evolved with age but some have never wavered. Those pertaining to Architecture, Art, Automotive, Design, and Travel have remained core tenants to who I am. Aspects of each of these can be found here.

I wish to express my hobbies and interests through various ventures to come, this being the first. As in its definition, a venture or ventures always involve some level of uncertainty. That being said, I have no clue as to where this may lead but I felt it necessary to express my passions in some forum, read or not.
